Involved in interdisciplinary research and development that promotes sustainable intensification of agriculture, the improvement of rural livelihoods, and furthers the understanding of people-nature interactions. Experience includes agroecosystems analysis and re-design, agroforestry, tropical agronomy and landscape restoration.

Sustainability Biologist
Ingrid Molina Mora
Interested in exploring the links between agricultural eco-efficiency and wildlife conservation. Currently working on productive landscapes, using birds as a compass for sustainability. Experience includes, applied ecology, bioacoustics monitoring, and urban biodiversity-enhancement strategies.

Forester - Geographer
Guillermo A. Durán Sanabria
Geospatial data scientist with interests in conservation biology, natural resources management and free and open-source computational tools.
Involved in the creation, management and analysis of environmental datasets, with experience in both academic research and corporate positions.

Biologist - Agrobiodiversity analyst
Marvin Alejandro Tórrez Gutiérrez
Researcher on biodiversity and landscape in agro-systems through the use of birds as ecological indicators. Combined the ecological research with ecotourism and social impact in youth as facilitator in training and workshops. Experience included biometry, biometrics and GIS analysis, as well photography for nature.

Agronomist- Natural Resource Manager
Oscar Cruz
Involved in promoting rural development and sustainable production among coffee farmers in Nicaragua.
Interested in soil conservation practices and natural resources.
Experience in coffee, livestock production, and mechanization of agricultural processes.

Juan Ramón Bravo Moreno
Experience in research, teaching, design and execution of environmental and development projects, focused on sustainable production, rural extension, climate change, food security, and good production practices from the perspective of integral ecology. Considering social, economic, cultural, and environmental aspects to promote human well-being and the sustainability of the ecosystem as a whole.

Biologist-Ecologist
Samantha Solis Oberg
Background in ecology with a deeply rooted passion for agroecology, particularly agroforestry. Experienced in overseeing farm field operations and supporting productive cash crop projects. Currently dedicated to collaborating with growers to facilitate the transition to ecologically sound agriculture, aiming to restore and safeguard biodiversity.

Conservation Biologist
Fernando Cediel
Researcher focused on understanding in a deeper way the relationship between bird communities and the ever-changing rural landscapes. Currently interested in finding strategies to further ecosystem sustainability and species conservation, at the same time giving people the tools to understand biodiversity and maintain sovereignty over their land. Experience includes, birds identification and monitoring, ecological modeling, GIS analysis, citizen science and nature photography.

Agroecologist
Fernanda Limón
With a background in agroecology, I am currently focused on analyzing the impact of food systems on biodiversity and the socio-environmental dynamics surrounding them, as well as the implementation of agroforestry systems as a solution.
Experience includes working in the world of regenerative agriculture and hands-on community work in rural Mexico, aiming to enhance socio-environmental practices, food sovereignity and nurturing life on our planet.

Forester - Data analyst
Luka Goudsblom
Junior researcher in the field of Forest Ecology and Natural Resource Management.
With a fundamental education in forest and nature conservation,
and experience with dendrochronology, plant-fungi interactions and general ecological data analysis.
Current endeavours focus on data analysis and visual representation of coffee production and agroecosystems.
